Building developers have informed us that they will be starting work in Bathwick Street in mid January 2012. This will involve the demolition of three houses adjacent to Chestnuts House, and construction of two new Georgian style town houses. Work will take place Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Fortunately none of the bedrooms will overlook the construction site. Chestnuts has recently installed both air conditioning and triple glazed windows. We believe these measures will significantly minimise any possible discomfort. Guests can be assured their stay at Chestnuts house will not be compromised by the development in Bathwick Street. |
It is ideally situated off the main roads and adjacent to Henrietta park, but within a few minutes level stroll of the city centre with its many attractions, restaurants and excellent shopping centre.
The House is built from natural Bath stone and has four excellent guest rooms, some with king size and wrought iron beds and one with a private patio area. Warm and attractive decorations have provided well appointed, spacious and comfortable en suite rooms. All are equipped with remote colour televisions, radio/alarm clocks, broadband internet connection, hairdryers and refreshment trays.
Owners Toni and Dawn have created a splendid and delightful bed & breakfast with superb hospitality in a relaxing atmosphere, all the necessary ingredients for making your stay in Bath a truly memorable experience.
